Description

Five matching antique ceramic glazed 6 inch square tiles made around 1900 probably. Commonly used in old cast iron fireplaces (they usually have 5 down each side) or in wash stand splashbacks, though they can be used in lots of decorative situations. These ones have an embossed, tube-lined floral design with a cream and brown background. Condition is pretty good: one has a slightly chipped edge (see pics) and there are various other scuffs and dings though nothing unexpected for the age.
